Structural Engineer

Devlen Engineering, Inc. is seeking candidates to work under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer and work as a team to:

• Develop design concepts. Prepare contract documents during design development phase. Correct and update design documents. Develop solutions to design problems.
• Perform design calculations for wood, concrete, structural steel and masonry structures.
• Create and analyze computer building models for structural building projects. Assist in the detailing of projects. Assist in the design and production of engineering drawings and specifications for delivery of projects. Check, interpret and revise engineering drawings.
• Knowledge and skill in AutoCAD and REVIT techniques and principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. Familiarity with design and engineering software.
• Must work well in a team environment, but also be able to individually work, in the development of engineering reports and detailed construction plans and specifications for a wide variety of project types.
• Occasionally preform construction site visit and inspections.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering or able to obtain soon if still in college.
• Able to preform basic engineering calculations for a variety of materials and demonstrate abilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Basic knowledge of the local codes such as FBC, ACI, ASCE, etc.
• Experience with Windows and Office Software.
• Have passed or are scheduled to take the FE/EIT exam within a year.

Preferred

• Graduate/Master's degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structural Engineering.
• 1+ Years of Experience Working for a Structural Engineering firm or job related experience is a plus.
• Advanced experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Engineering softwares.

CAD/REVIT Technician

Devlen Engineering, Inc. is seeking candidates to work under the supervision of a Structural Engineer and work as a team to:

• Use AutoCAD/REVIT to create structural details and full structural construction documents for our clients.
• Occasionally assist Engineer at a construction site visit or inspections.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Certificate or Certified Training Program involving AutoCAD and REVIT
• Able to Demonstrate Abilities Using AutoCAD and Revit, Including Knowledge of Dynamic Blocks and Annotative Features.
• Basic Understanding of Construction Materials and Methods.
• Experience with Windows and Office Software

Preferred

• 2 Year College Degree Involving AutoCAD/REVIT
• 1+ Years of Experience Working for a Structural Engineering or Architectural Firm
• Experience with AutoCAD 3D Features
• Experience with Revit
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop
